The transition to ski season has certainly been a slow one. We can't seem to get a cold snowy patch of weather here. Ususually by this time of year we've had at least one good snow storm. Right now there is bearely an inch on the ground. A few of us still managed to get up the whiteface toll road this morning. It was tough getting around the uncovered spots but we had fun. It just goes to show that if you have good friends, you don't need good snow. Special thanks to Cunningham's Barn for the rental skis so we didn't have to take our own gear.
