Friday was the first day of Spring. On Saturday I enjoyed what could be my last day at Whiteface for the season, and Sunday was my first day of New York springtime boating.
Satruday was yet another day of spring skiing at whiteface. I met up with a lot of good people, the wetaher was absolutely blue-bird, and I had a great time.
To be honest, I may be slightly over-excited for kayaking this year. On Sunday I drove a long way for a very mediocre run called the Mettawee. The level kayaking didn't really matter. I had a great time boating with Chris and Trip. Especially because they had never done it before.
I can't wait to see what the next few weeks brings us. April is always a good time to be a kayaker in Northern New York.
